I guess I got what I paid for, but just because I accept that fact it doesn't mean I am not unsatisfied, in fact, I'm disgusted.

I recently bought a domain (3$), and I got the wrong log in information. So I emailed them and they haven't replied yet (two weeks). So I tried the live chat thing and I was there for an hour and my browser finally crashed. I also tried calling them on several occassions and I swear they just hang up on me, they put me on hold and eventually hang up. Unlike a lot of domains I buy, I actually had plans to develop this one, I had found the perfect niche. It was also a really good domain that would drive me SE traffic, meh.

This doesn't mean I gave up, I NEED that domain. And no I'm not typing the log in info wrong, I've read in other forums that this also happened to other people. This also isn't my first domain with them.

Summary: Don't buy from this company, they basically steal your money.

I also have had a mishap with them. I bought BYTESFORBITES.COM and planned on hosting it elsewhere. I set up the name servers but it doesn't work. It's been a month now.

Their Customer Service sucks. The one guy says I should transfer the domain... that costs me $10 at least. I DON'T WANT to transfer, I want to host elsewhere.

$3 is too good to be true... cuz you get what you pay for.

It's unfair to say don't buy from iPower ... their hosting service is still pretty much the best on the web, but yes if you buy any of their 'extra' features then you'll probably get screwed.

I disagree their hosting service is the best. It is far from it.
Just do a search on webhostingtalk.com and you will see there is a cuntinual pattern of dissatisfied customers over a period of time.

I just want to update this topic with my results. After emailing them several times, right now I finally included "I will sue you" in the email and they replied immediately.

It's sad when it takes things like this to get results.

Good luck with them. Hopefully you'll get your domain.
