Hi, I'm planning to buy hosting with GoDaddy for my upcoming site, does anyone have some good/bad experiences with GoDaddy, the Premium Plan to be more specific?

My experience with them is from the perspective of having to get things done for clients, not by me actually hosting with them. My opinion is that they are like the Wal-Mart of the web. They do everything, but nothing very well.

That said, for a small site, they'd be fine.

Beware of their customer service people.

they charge way too much for the small amount of service they give for there plans

a host like brius.com is a good choice
fair price for excellent service

I have never had a problem with them. I have had to contact their Customer Support a couple of times and they were helpful.

I use GoDaddy almost exclusively for clients that I design web sites for - especially when they are 'smaller' type content, static sites.

I used a dedicated server with them to host a 20-domain proxy network that was easy to set up, maintain, and get cancelled after I sold the network.

I have called customer service a number of times with questions that I considered to be 'easy' to those that I know were much more 'difficult' and had good help at all levels - I even had them answering a question on how to configure one part of my php.ini file on my dedicated server.
