Hey yall,

I just joined the forum and it looks like a great place to
learn, and God knows I need it..lol

I have whats probably an uncommon problem, I don't know
but here it is.

My domain used to be found when I entered this address
into the address box:

http://mydomain.com

But now it can only be found when I type this address into
the address box:

http://www.mydomain.com

The problem is I'm listed with all the search engines useing
the first address with out the www. and when you click on
my search results I don't find my site.

Is there any way to fix this problem I would be so happy if
you could help me out with this and thankful.

To your success
David

http://mydomain.com

Ignore the load of old tosh above.

It's a DNS problem. Somewhere along the line either the A record for the hostname only has been lost from the authoritative name server
OR and this is more likely; the VirtuaHost entry or the hostheader (depends on the hosting technology) has been removed from the server.

If you don't have access to the server you will need your host to fix it.
