To Joomla Experts...

I've got Joomla running locally on my laptop (under WampServer 2) and i use it for learning and testing purposes - not live - i want to disable the session timeout/expiry feature for administrator... reason being, its just annoying having to log in everytime i return to my laptop from doing something else... or returning to Joomla admin page from being on other pages for too long...

anyone know how to disable this? cheers

I don't know how this goes in Joomla 1.5 as I've yet to upgrade, but in Joomla 1.0 you could just go to Global Configuration -> Server, and edit the Admin Session Lifetime to something really big.

You'll find the setting in Joomla Administrator Backend, Site > Global Configuration > System tab
Set 'Session Lifetime'
