All of the sudden, our web site displays a 404 error when you try to view a page with a .html extension. I have checked, double checked, triple checked to make sure that the .html file is on the server and that the path I am using is correct. I have even tested a plain html file with no contents besides one paragraph contianing text. I have tried putting html files in different folders and they still are not being found.
We use IIS on windows 2003 server and coldfusion mx.
Are there any settings in either IIS or Coldfusion that would prevent html files from being found?
I appreciate any help!

Do you host your own server or are you on a shared hosting solution?

We (the company I work for) have a dedicated server through AT&T. AT&T does not configure the settings for our IIS or Coldfusion though.

quick thought would be to check the MIME type of .html documents to make sure it is text/html

.htm works, .shtml doesn't.
My HTML documents do use text/html.
Any other ideas??

EDIT - I also checked the MIME type of .html in the properties of the server local computer and it is set to text/html also.
