All of the sudden, our web site displays a 404 error when you try to view a page with a .html extension. I have checked, double checked, triple checked to make sure that the .html file is on the server and that the path I am using is correct. I have even tested a plain html file with no contents besides one paragraph contianing text. I have tried putting html files in different folders and they still are not being found.
We use IIS on windows 2003 server and coldfusion mx.
Are there any settings in either IIS or Coldfusion that would prevent html files from being found?
I appreciate any help!

quick thought would be to check the MIME type of .html documents to make sure it is text/html
