its extremely annoying how ftp auto-disconnects after i don't use it for about a minute. so if i go to make changes to code, and come back, i have to reconnect again. and sometimes it kinda bugs out and i can't connect again.
this is with godaddy hosting

is there anyway to make it stay connected?

This is something that is controlled on server-side. Contact your host about it. More then likely they won't change it. If you have a VPS or Dedicated server please let me know, I will be more then happy to walk you through changing it.
