I'm currently looking for an antivirus for a Windows 2003 Web server. Whats the best around?

can anyone here tell me from his experiences what is the best Anti Virus software to protect a Windows 2003 Server? The server doesn't run an Microsoft Exchange Server.....this Server runs only a Microsoft SQL 2005 Server.

I would recommend to both of you visit web sites of major anti virus developers. Each of them must have solution for the server. Then you can go for the reviews on the internet

Hi I have personally installed NOD32 from www.eset.com on all my servers, these include SQL, IIS, Citrix etc and it performs wornderfully. We tried many different vendors before getting to NOD32 and it really is the best.

Very small memory and CPU footprint and it does not bother you with messages constantly (unless you actually get an virus that is).

NOD is one of the best. I believe that you will be able to find comparision charts for different antivirus. Just make sure they are for the servers not for the home PC
