What version of Apache are you running?
What OS are you running it on?
What does it say in Apache's error log?

Yep BUT does it;

stop running completely?
stop serving pages?
on ALL sites or just one
is Apache that stops or php etc.

is it the server hardware that drops out

etc etc

Open up SSH and type:
/scripts/easyapache

Rebuild your apache and php - and then tell us if problems persist.

I don't think the OP would be able to handle that

The fact that cPanel is still up means that it more likely a script on your site that is stopping it running.
Get whoever programmed the site to find the problem.

Run this:

Code:
ssh: netstat -plan|grep :80|awk {'print $5'}|cut -d: -f 1|sort|uniq -c|sort -nk 1
Post your results here

Reason for asking, is it sure looks like someone's out to get you as it's pretty tough to knock one's apache out if there not on a Windows based machine...Anything other than Windows takes some know how to do it

Get whoever programmed the site to find the problem.
He probably just purchased the server with everything pre-installed onto it.

You probably fiddled with the "memory usage restrictions" in whm - which is causing your apache to crash.

Anyways - my advice still stands . /scripts/easyapache
Get some documentation on it.
