I work with osCommerce for one client, though it's not my favorite application to work with. Odds are your changes will need to be made to a few files. Look in your template for main_page.tpl.php and also for header.php. Usually the files you'll want to edit are going to have .tpl in there name.

Look in the main template folder for your theme, the content folder inside the main templates folder. Most of the changes you'll make will likely be to files in those two folders. One other place to look is includes/languages/english (assuming your site is in english - otherwise substitute the language your site uses)

Hope that helps.

With OScommerce (the free version) the files that alter those things are hidden in the file system and need to be altered manually.

IE you cant access them from the admin of OSC. Or if you can often their permissions are messed up.

WHat is the URL?
