Have you seen the http://linkgraph.net website. It claims to solve 404's of which I looked into it more and it actually works!!

LOL, it says 'Ironically, the page you requested couldn't be found on the Linkgraph website.'

it doesn't work if a page never existed in that name only if a page has been moved
