can someone explain the difference between getting a ssl cert with geotrust as compared to a reseller of geotrust such as namecheap.com? they seem a lot cheaper with the reseller but i'm assuming there is a difference? thanks

I think it's just more security. I heard the cheapest one is perfectly fine though.

FYI: Since this is a question regarding site administration, you'd be better off asking in the appropriate forum:

It isn't security. A SSL is a third party stating your business is qualified and legitimate business along with a encryption page where you post your information. One SSL is not better or worse than another. It is all about brand and how much you want to pay. http://serverintellect.com/products/ssl/ both of these ssl certs listed here would qualify for a secure ssl.
