I have set up a station, currently only promoting independent music with permission of artists, but I need to get prices for UK licensing in order to start playing lots of good tunes.

definitely information worth spreading around... the rise of online streaming audio (like Shoutcast stations) is bound to be a significant area of cultural change in coming years. After recessions music and art always have revolution periods.
In booms music and art just turns crap (eighties pop, eighties sitcoms - quaint, but is it really music or art?)
It looks like http://www.bpi.co.uk is the uk equivalent of RIAA, but if anyone knows other important links, please "share" them here in exchange for the usual linkdrop to your adsense site, clearly. Or your homepage with your pos facility. Ah, the usual suspects.
