I recently made a wordpress blog on my website and put it in a subdirectory. if I put in http://www.thewebtaylor.co.uk/web-and-marketing-blog/ it makes the www. dissapear, but i want it there. My website is submitted with Google with the www. infront so it doesnt link the two together.

Can someone help me in making it keep the www. there.

Seems to only occur in the /web-and-marketing-blog/ directory.

I don't have a bleeding edge version of WordPress installed, but try logging in and clicking the 'Settings' tab then making sure that your "Word Press address (URL)" and "Blog address (URL)" contain the "www." subdomain/prefix.

If that doesn't do the trick, you may need to start hunting down .htaccess files.

Thanks for the reply. I looked at the settings and found that the www. wasn't before the blog address - im new to all this wordpress stuff.
