How to check apache error logs for a specific date for the specific domain?

When I do cat error_logs | grep username I got a list of error logs for that domain but it displays all the dates. I want to know the command to check logs for a particular date?

That's why I don't fork over money for a website these days! You never know...

This is so easy to figure out you don't even have to use command line tools, albeit, it will make things quicker, I guess, but you don't have the concept yet.

Check /etc/httpd/logs directory (I don't have apache currently installed, but the logs are probably there)

Then YOU HAVE TO LOOK!!

Yes, I could see the logs for the specific domain. However, it displays the logs of all the dates. I want to check for the specific date.
