I have both website1 & website2.com but only website1.com has the hosting & I need to use .htaccess files to forward the alias.

I'd like to forward www.website2.com to website2.website1.com (off course keeping the url at www.website2.com/... ). Is this possible?

First you will have to create the subdomain as website2.website1.com in your domain website1.com and then you can write the rewrite rule to redirect the web site from website2.com to website2.website1.com.

I've satup the alias already and www.website2.com is resulting in www.website1.com. I can't set it up anyway else.

I've used a htaccess file beforde, but website2 was a subfolder of website1. Resulting in some limitations. So I'm looking for a .htaccess file or a simple tutorial to write the .htaccess file. I've tried changing an htaccess-file that forwards to a sub-folder, but no success.

You cannot "forward" to a subfolder with htaccess, it has to be done with a "VirtualHost" entry in httpd.conf, which you will not have access to.
