Hello,

So we finally launched a new website today. I went into the domain registrar and repointed the nameservers to the new hosting server.

Right away, the new site starting showing up in my browser, so I was like cool, that was fast. However, ever since then, sometimes the site will not load (server not found). It seems to happen at random. Then at random it will appear correctly again?

Is the domain not fully propgated? I always thought once its propogated, your good to go...but maybe Im wrong?

I had the same problem, it was techinal difficulties from the host.

Your host is either having some DNS problems, the apache service is timing out, or their server is crashing. Whatever it is, it's a problem with your host. Give them a call and ask what's up. They should have some answers for you.

Correct, what hosting provider are you using?

Just thrown some requests at the host and all seems ok.
Both nameservers are happy.

Tbh id give it 72hrs. Changing NS can take a while to propagate correctly and you may see caching issues.

1- Try to make empty your DNS Cache :
Start -> Run -> Ipconfig /flushdns

2- Register at one of those free services offering free website monitoring, using them will make you sure if it's that the server is down or if it's another kind (to determine Downtime too)

In your Cpanel it should tell you what is up on your server, obviously, if you can't access this then your server is down.
