Hello all

I have a problem with Vbulletin 4.0.1 installation,
first. I want to install it on an addon domain but when I enter to install directory with typing the addon domain it redirects automatically to a subdomain of the main host domain and continue the setup

is anyone here knows where is the problem?

and thanks in advance

I think you need to check .htaccess file... i had similar kind of redirect problem but with vbulletin installtion, I modified .htaccess file and set it right. Empty your .htaccess file n try it.. (Back up if ther s any data in .htaces file before emptying it.)

another info here
when I did a server info on the addon domain I found this:

Code:
Apache/2.2.14 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.14 OpenSSL/0.9.8l DAV/2 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at subdomain.maindomain.com Port 80
I think that the server in red should be addondomain.com and not subdomain.maindomain.com

In that case you haven't set it up correctly.

Correct, you need to reconfig the addon domain, because right now it is redirecting.
