Hi, sorry I am sure this is very basic - I am a total beginner and googling did not clear the issue.

Have made some web forwarding on domains we own on 123reg today and now all it is displaying when a domain is entered is:

404 - File or directory not found. The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

Is that normal and is happening just because it needs time to be visible on the net again or is there someting wrongwith the actual files on the server.

(I don't have access to our actual hosting server, the markeitng agency do).

Can anyone enligheten me, please, please, please?

Its probably a server problem.
Im assuming your domains point to your IP address of the server?

In this case you will normally have your domains configured on your webserver as "virtual domains / hosts"

This basically means that when you goto yourdomain.com and that then gets forwarded to your servers IP address, Your server will then know what index.html / directory to put that user request.

Id check you have your sites configured correctly in any hosting panel you have and check your files are in the correct directorys.

That should fix the issue, but if it doesn't let me know, I would be happy to assist you further!
