Hi All
I am trying to debug a php site using localhost. I am running on xp professional with IIs 5.1.
However, after viewing the page a few times or refreshing it things start to grind to a halt. It takes longer and longer to get a response before I finally get the error message: HTTP 403.9 - Access Forbidden: Too many users are connected Internet Information Services.
To be clear I am the only person try to access IIS and I don’t’ have dozens of browsers open at the same time or anything.
This occurs after a very short length of time making testing very frustrating bordering on impossible.
I have searched for an answer to this and it would seem that I am not alone and a great many people have trouble with this. However, many of the solutions given seem to conflict with each other or are super vague.
I have tried disabling HTTP Keep-Alives but this had little effect other than causing Explorer to open half a dozen new tabs every time I tried to preview the site!
I am sure I shouldn’t become locked out as soon as I am, (if at all) does anyone know how I can resolve this as it is driving me mad
Cheers
Burnsie
