Help! Help!
When I write a php progam and save it to xampp/htdocs/xampp, and try to run it I keep getting a applet that wants me to save or run like when you download a new program. This applet just goes into a continuos loop.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. The welcome screen says everything is running fine. I had it running before and had to uninstall for another problem, I could run the php I made without a problem.

I am running Vista operating system. Can someone tell me if I am just using the wrong procedure to load my script. I also get a message when I hand type the file location.

Thanks in advance,

William Clarkson

Well, From what your saying, It looks like your not running php? PHP should be included in the default install of XAMPP. Also, You should be uploading your files to "htdocs/" and not in the XAMPP folder inside. If you are having problems, I would advise a fresh install, or just download the pendrive version and run it from your drive.

You can PM me if you need any further help, I have much experience with XAMPP.

The problem is that you are localy running your script. XAMP doesnt likes this. Try running it from another computer, even if its in a local network, ill guarantee it'll work!

Sorry I am not directly helping you out, but just a tip that I think WAMP would be a better option.
