I'm the kind of person that tends find things out the hard way... learn by failing you could say, however this fail could be just too much.

About 7 months ago I wanted to start a website/blog to earn money. real reason behind this was so i could incorporate a tee shirt business i had in the past through spreadshirt.com a big brother site that sells shirts you design for you, it did well for a while but failed short of what i expected, mainly because i only got 4-5 visits a day, but would still get about 7-8 sales a month.

That was then... recently (about 7 months ago) i bought a domain name/hosting www.wtfconcept.com added a subdomain? blog.wtfconcept.com incorp. wordpress I made lots of posts, informational/funny/w/e really came in mind. also made it so that wtfconcept.com would redirect you to blog.wtfconcept.com...

anyways to make it short, im getting about 70-80 visitors a day... big whoop i know but it's amazing for me lol... now yesterday i thought hey! maybe now is a good time to incorporate the Tee business to the website...

well... i added a shop.wtfconcept.com masking it to wtfconcept.spreadshirt.com then thought about how i rly wont ever use the orginal domain name so i changed it so that it would go to -> wtfconcept.com

problem with that was that it wtfconcept.com would redirect you to blog.wtfconcept.com... so i thought delete the fowarding... i did and now well neither blog.wtfconcept.com will work or wtfconcept.com...

i did manage to backup the /blog folder even tho i still see it in like the website ftp...

I'm just so confused/stressed... all i really want to do is write post to attract more visitors and create tee shirt designs... x.x

I wouldn't mind hiring someone, but honestly i dont think this requires prof help or something that involves me paying hundreds of dollars... and also the issue about trusting someone.

seems like you have messed up the DNS settings/redirects somehow

How have borked DNS somehow.

Check your A records and Cnames are correct!

"bl0g" is irrelevant I created that when i was testing subdomains a while back...
all my content is/was in blog.wtfconcept.com and again, all i did was delete the wtfconcept.com fowarding to blog.wtfconcept.com I was pretty sure that wouldn't delete my blog.wtfconcept.com... and everything in it, which I still have all the content from blog.wtfconcept.com i just don't know how to create it or add it back?!?

Maybe when you deleted the DNS you also deleted the server virtual host?

Check that the server is listening correctly for that domain and will redirect to the correct directory.?

Should i be trying to fix this problem through my Domain Manager or Hosting Control Center. I must sound like an idiot, sorry...

In Hosting Control Center > FTP Client, i can see that all the blog.wtfconcept.com content is there, so that makes me a little happy.

The only thing I removed (deleted) was the wtfconcept.com Fowards to > blog.wtfconcept.com I tried to fix this by adding it back, it didn't work... so then i played around (really bad idea) and in TOTAL DNS C.P i edited the old useless bl0g and changed it to "blog" now it does redirects but to a blank page... I was pretty sure this wouldnt be the solution so i changed it back to "bl0g" but it still redirects me to blog.wtfconcept.com that still shows a blank page..............

Remember , any DNS changes you make can take upto 72 hours to propagate to all ISP's

A change you have made MAY of fixed it, but you dont know it yet.

In reality it doesnt take too long to update but can still be 72 hours if your ISP is caching dns results..

Id suggest trying to change everything back to how it was with bl0g and then give it 24hrs and try again.

In your hosting panel, do you ahve any virtaul hosts or anything like that where you enter a URL and then a directory link? maybe check theres one for bl0g and pointing to your html index directory..

You're right, it does take a while... although when i made previous changes i would play a game or read a book come back two hours later and it'd be setup.... and well it's been 2 hours. i'll just be a little bit more patient. If it's not fixed by tomorrow... uhhh i don't know what im going to do. I worked hard on getting 40-50 visitors a day, and well if the site is down for 2-3 days, i'm guessing i'll be removed from Google's SEngines? idk but thats the last time i fool around with a good thing.

goto ( Start -> run -> cmd )

Type nslookup bl0g.yourdomain.com

If the IP returned is what you have changed it to and it still doesnt work , then you know to change it again.

if it is what you expected , then you know to look at something else.. ( Like i said, maybe a virtualhost or virtualdomain issue on your hosting control panel. )

when i do the nslookup to blog.wtfconcept.com it says its non-existant... x.x

Have sorted it for the user.

www. and bl0g should update in the next hour or so to point to blog.

Host records have been setup on the server and dns updated to use ONE A record with cnames pointing to the master A record.
