First, I'm sorry if this is in the wrong area. I don't know were else to put it.

I was just wondering if someone can help me with a .htaccess file.

So basically I have an RSS feed located on my server at exampledomain.com/feed/index.xml. I called web hosting support and asked them if there was a way I could change the file to appear as exampledomain.com/feed/ All I know is they created a .htacess file with some kind of code in it to (I guessing) redirect the file. But being a dumb *** I accidentally deleted the file as soon as I got off of the phone with them. Being a small web hosting company I didn't want to call back being there was a 99% chance I'd talk to the same person.

Does anyone know what I put in the .htaccess to make domain.com/feed/index.xml appear as domain.com/feed/

Thanks in advance.

A couple weeks old already, but specifically one would use

DirectoryIndex index.xml

to accomplish your specific need. But do a Google search for .htaccess tutorial to come up with more reading information on the topic of .htaccess. It is a very useful and powerful file and worth your time to study.
