I am designing a website for GPS tracking. So the website will receive regular update from hundred GPS devices regularly somewhat every 10-15 seconds from each device. So i guess there'll be very high hit.

So can u anyone suggest the best solution for me? Should i go for GET request or Web service or any other options?

And am also concern about database record. because if each devices sent a location update every 15 seconds and there're 200 devices. It'll be nearly 1 millions records a day.

That will depend more on what the devices can handle.

the device can handle any of data that is sent from the server.

you would want to a POST to the server, with things like "id=21&loc=238661&time=81375921"

you'll want the server to respond with the write status before unspooling it from the device. that way it can que up and flush out when connectivity is restored.
