I have several folders/directoies on my website, but recently when I connect using ftp software not all the folders are visible?

This is a real pain as I need to download a directory to make some changes on it.

The directories are definately there, but I cannot see them when using FTP software.

I can log into the file manager through my cpanel and I can see the directories, but the download icon is greyed out and so I cannot download the directory!

I have asked my hosing company and they say that it's an issue with my FTP software. I have tried WSFTP pro and Cute FTP pro and they are both the same!

Any help would be appreciated?

Not the FTP software but the FTP User that does not have permissions to those folders.

Thanks for the replies Chris

I have logged in using the main FTP account, which gives full access to everything and it is exactly the same. For some reason certain folders are not visible

Thanks Chris,
I don't know how to that, I am afraid as I'm not well clued up on servers etc.
I have asked a webmaster that installs mods in my forum to take a look when he has chance, hopefully he will fix it.
