when i tried install a wordpress blog using fantastico, it prompt me this.. but there is nothing in my root directory. why? any help please

The installation  can not be completed:
-  You cannot install more than one  script in the root directory of a domain.

Click on the  browser's Back button to fix reported errors.

is there an existing index.php or .htaccess file in the site root?

yes. there is should i delete it?

Yep or rename them. That's what tripped up Fantastico.
