12hours is just too long, they usually respond the next day.

no If you are the admin and if you have cpanel support for your account .. then go to "Manage ftp users" and there you can reset it ...

I wonder you can reset it in your hosting control panel yourself with respect to the addon domain name,though you forgot the old one.
