Hi,
I'm just curious on the following.
Would appreciate some information on how to do it.
Lets Say We have 3 Servers:
Server A - 100mbit Dedicated (Quad Core 2.3)
Server B - 1000mbit Dedicated (2x4x2.0Ghz Xeon)
Server C - 100mbit Small Server or a Good VPS
Website a vBulletin Forum, On Server A, & the MySQL Database for that website is on Server B (as its quite powerful).
Choice of Web servers: Apache, Nginx, Lighttpd
Can use any one of them or a combination.
1) If an image is called, Goto Server B images dir (Like having a image server)
2) If Server A is loaded lets say take's too much time to load, send to Server C (or some similar situation)
3) If Server A is Down site should work from server C.
4) Basically keep the site alive no matter what.
You might be wondering why not put it on Xeon, its a powerhouse..
Yes its possible, but I want to know this, curious and some legal reasons.
Awaiting your replies.
Regards
