I would like to know what is C class IP Address and how it effect our SEO?

Will Google give preference to other type of IPs?

There has been no such thing as IP classing since 1993 when Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR) was introduced.

Maybe you should stop reading the "experts" out of date useless mis-information

There's only a debate among the people who have something to gain by confusing the issue and selling something that people simply do not require.

IP classing has NOT existed for SEVENTEEN YEARS Which is BEFORE all the search engines that exist today were even developed.


Shared IPs have been a fact of life for over 20 years and SEs have developed way, way, way beyond where IP subnets are a concern.

Totally agree.
But that's justified, as it is one of the part of marketing.
I hope you agree on that.

For SEO purpose, a dedicated IP is good but please keep in mind it has little effect to SEO.
