Not sure if I have worded my question right in the topic of this post, but let me go to the long description:
I have a mailing list with over 80 subscribers, on a list powered by Dada Mail.
Someone has subscribed to an address that is a forwarder to info@example.com, a now-defunct personal website. The domain is available for registration.
A check of the subscriber's attached email in the bounce message reveals that he is subscribed at info@example.com, but when I follow that link back to my email list to unsubscribe, he is not subscribed! This is in agreement with the subscriber list that I have already checked for that address.
I could send each subscriber an individual test message with the subscribed email address contained within the subject or body of the message. Then see which one comes back from example.com. And unsubscribe that address.
Is there another tool that I can use to trace the email addresses I have on file back to their destination without actually sending a message?
Thanks in advance!
