Hi guys,

Does anyone know of a site that teaches web design by way of mini projects as such only I find it easier to pick up something if im doing rather than just reading. I have very basic knowledge of webdesign and I would like to be able to create websites for various things I have interest in. Webdesign is a hobby for me and at the moment I am not looking to move jobs only create websites for fun to share with people and learn along the way.

I have a couple of idea's for sites but at the moment like a page for my sunday league team (football) which has league table etc but I wouldnt know how to put the table and fixtures in a webpage. My other site would be Darts I sell them on ebay at the moment but would like one day if I could have a nice professional looking site to sell from. I would like to creat e these from scratch and not use templates or pre-build programs as this is just my hobby as I said.

Any help would be great thanks

You might try www.lvsonline.com - they have a few instructor-led web design classes. You get assignments, you turn in your 'homework' and the instructor helps. The price is extremely reasonable too.

your best bet would be to look for articles and tutorials. do a google search for things like website design course, website design process etc etc. you will find lots of resources which will help you
