I use Macromedia to put film clips onto my website, over the last 6 months i've deleted and replaced some. I noticed that in the documents folder of the root file there are about 25 film clips that i've previously deleted amounting to 270mb, are these clips taking up space on my site? thanks

If they are still on the server then yes. However, depending if people can still access them will depend on if they are using bandwidth.
