I wanted o create a LIVe news ticker in one of my pages. I have one website for live streaming and wanted to add news to it on live basis so users dont have to refresh the page once i add some news to the page

can someone give ideas how this can be done please?

You probably want an RSS-feed, with an AJAX updater. There are some of those on Dynamic Drive, or you can probably find them anywhere.

Well first you need to learn about constructing an RSS-feed (google it), or you can hijack an existing news feed. Then you pick one of the viewers on http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex18/ (look for AJAX ones) and put that onto your site.
