What file size is your homepage including images I always try to keep it down to the smallest I can around 40kb - 60kb Just intrested to see what your page size is if you build your pageswith photoshoop what file size does that give off.

Currently 74k, html, css and images - try to keep home pages under 100kb and under 60kb if possible.

Photoshop is for creating graphics not web pages - if you just slice and export you will often get a huge file size. IMHO it's always better to create your site framework in html/css first then make your graphics to suit, you can then control total file size by the amount of graphics you add.

agree mine is quite big but it contains ajax html, background etc but i think its only 150kb or so. But blue dreamer your right, always try to use dreamweaver or something as its 1. Easier to edit 2. Quick i find.

If you do your pages in photoshop they will be at least 3 times bigger than if you use ie.: dreamweaver and then implement the pictures or designs around.

This is a fact.

I use Dreamweaver my self. I have seen tutorials from Adobe where they show how to make a site with photoshop alone.
