My problem is the following. I have to create a seat wizard site for one of my clients. The wizard consists from pictures of car seats. The problem is there are lots of seat element options to choose from.

For ex. 4 seat models, each model comes with 4 heights and each model has 10 different color combination.

My client wants seat graphics for each and every option. So if I count this 4*4*10 = 160 different pictures! And these are just 10% of the whole seat options.

There must be a better way designing this wizard, without drawing a picture for each option. I'm thinking maybe with flash I could do it, but then again my knowledge regarding flash programming is very limited. I rather want to make quality work...

Is there any other way of doing this? I'm desperate for an answer, can you help me?

I don't think the car seats need to be shown in every size. That would be a waste of time and I don't think many people will want it. As for the colours, you could take a picture of each model and then adjust the hue/saturation/lightness for different colours. Then you only need to take 4 pictures and do some image editing to take the rest of the colours.

You could do that only the fly, certainly in Flash (perhaps with a little work). Then you'd only have 4 image embedded in the swf, just being edited dynamically or a different image in different frames. Not very accessible though, I have to admit. You could, of course, also publish the images of the four types for those who can't use Flash.
