Does anyone know a good way of creating a page flip/turning effect which is not flash. The reason why i say no flash is because it is likely to be over 100 pages long plus it needs to be searchable with the already implemented site search...

Thanks in advance guys!

I can do Flash (I know you said not Flash), but you might find it easier to make the Flash searchable in some way. Pageflip effects are way hard. You might be stuck between a rock and a hard place though.

the only way closest to page flipping effect is fading effect.
http://sachiniscool.somee.com/wip/transpage1.html
this site gives an example on Firefox and IE.
The example on FF uses javascript to do the fading effect (for FF have no default sceen effects)
The example on IE uses the default page effect built into IE.
I think this will be your best bet in doing it without using Flash.

Try using www.pagegangster.com it's flash, but the conversion from pdf to flash is automatic, and it is searchable and google friendly...

You can try it for free

yer, seriously, i doubt with all my heart you will find anyway to make the exact effect you want without using flash.
I guess the best way to do it is to just use one flash item and use it for all the pages instead of having a slighlty different one for each page (AKA: Dont personalise the page flip for each page).
