I decided to place this post here since joomla is css. I was wondering if there is anyone here that uses joomla and can tell me about a good forum module. I currently have a forum with "mybb" software but am changing the site over to joomla and would love to integrate a good forum with the site and more my forums over to there. I know I have seen at least one that has the little program to migrate from mybb also and that sure would be nice. Do not want to lose any information.

Hello Adam.
Simple Machines Forum (SMF) is probably the best forum used with Joomla.
It can be integrated into Joomla by using Joomla-SMF Forum(JSMF) Bridge.
There is also a MyBB converter located here. I hope this helps.

Thank you Moxxnixx for your reply. I was thinking about SMF and saw there were converters for many many different forums. That alone tells me these forums must have good community support. I have heard about the "bridge" but do not yet fully understand it. Does that mean if someone signs up on the index of my site then they are signed up for the forums automatically?
