Hello there.
Please help me... I am missing something and I am not sure what. I am trying to do some modifications to a joomla template.

I have an existing flash image rotator I want to use. I downloaded the flash module, and tried to put it in the page that way.

http://lsanashville.com/templates/ja_fagus/images/flash/rotator.swf is the file in action- of course with no edits. So it does work.

http://lsanashville.com/index.php show just a white box where I almost want the file to be.. I want it exactly in the space. Unfortunately, all I get is that white box, no image rotator.

So I am almost there, but I need to get all the way there.

Any help at all would be so appreciated!!

Thanks,
Alicia

Where is the swfobject.js file located ? You need to make sure that you've got the path to it correctly specified.

The js file is located http://lsanashville.com/templates/ja_fagus/images/.

I run into the same things running the flash module and the handyswf module.
It doesn't help that I am not totally sure where to stick in code due to the newness of joomla and using modules. I am used to just putting whatever code in whatever page I need it to be, do a little tweaking and off I go.

This has me so stuck.

There is a joomla specific flash rotator, but it isn't as nice as this one...

Thanks so much for responding.

I did wind up buying the other rotator. It works... Hopefully I can get it to work almost like the other.

I would try moving the swfobject.js AND the swf file into the same directory as the page and see if that works.
