I used a template to build a website and I have been using FrontPage for editing. The horizontal menu/navigation buttons on my web pages are sized differently in Firefox than in Internet Explorer. The web pages (.htm) pull the menu from another .htm page. Here is the line of code that references the navigation buttons:

The nav. buttons render properly in I.E.

Does anyone have any idea why this happens and any suggestions on how to resolve it?

I tried expanding the width of the table and cells for each of the 4 nav. buttons, but it seems as if Firefox does not recognize the changes. Changes to other parts of the web pages did show up in Firefox.

Actually, they don't. IE gets it WRONG most of the time because of it's many, many bugs (IE7's a tad better), and Firefox is showing you the way it SHOULD be based on your code.

This is one of the major problems with using FrontPage - besides it's horrendously messy code, the pages it generates ONLY work right in IE, which is bad for a web page. Those stupid 'web bots' only work in IE.
