Ok, so there goes the self promotion...
I've designed this myself:
http://web-screenshots.com/demo/

Try it, and tell me what you think of it.
For now, it just sits there, doing almost nothing because the server is not able to cope with a high level of requests.
But it works, as long as you don't try to make 5 screenshots at the same time...

There is a demo account for webmaster-talk users.
The login email is shot@wmt.com and the password is _wmaster_
I just added credits to this account for 2'000 webshots.

I haven't tried it because I'm not sure how I could take advantage yet. But I wanna pipe in and say Tripy is a mad scientist of the web. Any programming the guy does, is of the utmost quality.

Shhhht, don't say things like that John.

I'm serious when I say the server is underpowered for that app.
In fact, the memory and disk I/O are too low, because it's a XEN virtual server, and I suppose the server is very much fragmented.

But leasing a 1u server is too costly for what I do now, and except if I can find 3/4 peoples to lease it with me, it will stay like that for some times....

But I like the mad scientist...
Always up to blow the house to smithereens (or reinstalling the whole server(s) because I've screwed them up testing alien technologies)...
Yep, that's me....

I had a look at www.snap.com, but not too sure how to use it. What is the benefit of putting it on my website ? Anyone had any experience with Snapshots, or explain to me how to use it ? Thanks for the replies, Mickmac
