hey there, a real newbie here. just looking for a bit of help and advice.
i have just recently started working on a website using microsoft publisher and i am finding it quite complicated. i do not seem to able to get the right page size or alignment.
i was wondering if somone could direct me on how to use publisher properly or point me in the direction of a better web design program.
i know i must sound like a dumb *** and i do appologise but ive only eva worked with the hardware side of computers. im afraid all this web design stuff is very new to me.
Ok, MS Publisher is NOT for building web sites, it's for PRINT publications.
Use a tool that is meant for building web pages and you'll do better. My advice - learn HTML and CSS, code by hand FIRST. Even a tool like Dreamweaver will make lousy sites when YOU have no idea what it's doing or why.
