I'm kinda partial to 1, 3, 5, and 8. But, if I had to choose one, it would probably be 1.
A cool idea would be to have the headers rotate with every page refresh. Just an idea.

Use all of them and a header rotator.

I suggest increasing contrast to make the font easily readable, as well as keeping consistency.

Alternative, use the graphic without the font and simply have the font as a heading above the graphic.

Yeah #1 and #3 are definetly nicer than the others and more apealing to the eye. Sounds silly but anything that looks good and re-enforces your sites content will be a winner

yep .. 1 and/or 3 for me too ... but I do like the idea of a image rotator

Yep - I would go for No. 1 too.

They are all great. Which-ever ties in with your colors better.

I like 1 and 3 for their impact but there isn't a bad on in the bunch.
