A friend of mine runs a sports club and he asked a friend to set up, register up and design a club website.

Now the designer has vanished!

He stated the domain name is paid for and registered and the very basic site has been set up.

I've said that I'll do what I can; he stated that he has a password but that's all.

Can anyone tell me how I access the site so I can do some work??

This is it by the way http://www.leedssamuraimartialarts.co.uk/

Thanks in advance...

you'll need the ftp path, the upload path (if it's not just the root like /) username and password.

you'll probably need to contact the hosting company and ask them for the details

I'd keep an eye on your web designer, without FTP credentials you won't be able to do anything to the website or possibly the hosting & domain account too. If a web designer starts going into limbo try avoiding it at all costs!

And when you contact the hosting company, have them change the ftp access so your runaway designer can't do something to your site. Might never happen, but it has been known to.

if you read what the op said they only have a password, so all these ftp suggestions are a bit useless at this stage
