We are a group of Stanford students looking for one more member to join our team. Our team currently consists of a couple of Stanford CS students and a small marketing team.

We believe our idea to be good but it is also pretty focused on "social responsibility"/renewable energy and charity so if that is something that you are interested in please keep on reading. We really do hope to be able to come up with the next big thing (we have a lot to live up to though.. Google, Yahoo, HP and Sun Microsystems, all originated at Stanford).


PLEASE note that in the beginning no one will get paid: not the Engineers, not anyone. With this in mind... please realize that we are all putting a lot of our time into this project and we wouldn't be working as hard if we didn't think it could make it

So with that in mind, please either post here or PM me and let me know if this is something you might be interested in.. including a link to your portfolio would help a lot.

So what do you offer in return??? Anything???

Well... I guess it wasn't obvious. Let's just say if we actually "make it" everyone will get recognition and a pretty high paying job.. I mean it is a startup and we are looking for others who are wiling to put in the initial hard work required to get it off the ground in hopes that something much bigger than otherwise would be possible through "normal means" can arise from it all.

I mean.... that is pretty much how Google got started... they didn't have much to offer but stuck so.. yeah they basically worked for free too. But yeah.. it is all about the future.. think about this as though it were an investment. Of course, if we do succeed than it is very likely we will get backed by some Venture Capitalist and then compensation will be provided.

So basically nothing then?

We can manage to do all that you suggest without any help from anyone.

Your idea is ONLY of any interest (if that) to other students or someone who has independent means of support.

We are sorry if it appears as though we are trying to freeload off of people here.. .we really aren't. We agree that the type of person we are trying to find is pretty hard to come by.... we still have hope though.

I guess we should have clarified that this is a long term project and that everyone in the team does hope to make money at some point... also, while we may not have all the responsibilities that some of you guys do here... we do have other responsibilities and so even we are all only planning to work around 1hr a day on the project.
