i have a client who is a party promoter for clubs and he wants to have it so that when a person signs the guest list there is an automatic email sent to that person with a kind of personalized vip certificate type thing that they can print out and bring to the club to get in. the certificate would be the same design for everyone just with a change of information, name, date, and event. is this possible? i do have other questions to but i dont want to make this thread to complicated. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah thats totally possible, with some php or asp. I couldn't tell you the code off the top of my head, but I know for sure in some very basic php books, there is code/tutorials/examples of a very similar action, which Im sure you could modify easily. You just need an action attached to the Submit button that collects the input data, and issues out a specified message to that collected data (email). The message would also have to be coded with tags for the collected data to be inserted.
