I wanted to know if I had bought a domain name allready and found a server. Would I be able to just buy a template and upload it to the server? I was also wondering if there is different types of templates that I should be looking for? Is templates hard to customize if I paid someone to customize it? Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks

There certainly are.

Not for you, you just need to get your credit card/wallet out.

No problem. Ask a question that can actually be answered and you will get some.

Not being rude just making a point that very vague questions don't get useful responses.

Only you know where the hosting is and what you get with it.

Only you know how you would like your site to look and perform or what it's subject will be.

Only you know your HTML / CSS skills (if any).

So until you have shared some of that information;

We cannot determine if you can FTP files up to your site,
We cannot comment on what type of template would be suitable;
and we definitely cannot tell you if a template is easy to edit or not.

Some templates come as PSDs so you may need Photoshop skills as well.

Just too many unknowns to begin to be sensible.

Yes Template are very easy to customize in most cases. Are you using any type of program to edit them like Dreamweaver or Frontpage. Or do you do all your editing by text (notepad). These will not be to hard to do, and yes you can add CSS to anything just have to make a refernce to the CSS file in the head of your HTML document.

I am a web and graphic designer, if you have any other questions visit my site, or PM me. More than happy to help any way I can.
