Hello,

I need to add a visual country selector to a website. However I have no idea how to do this or where to get a component for that. A free one would be fine but I can accept commercial products as well.

I want something like this:

http://www.lonelyplanet.com/worldguide/

Any idea?

Thanks!

That looks like it was custom made for lonelyplanet. I have a feeling your best bet would be making one. A couple flash pieces could do it. Draw/Trace it out the same way, and make 1 zoomed out flash and then 1 flash for each zoomed in region. Hover over area simply fills it with a color - maybe use mask control to achieve that effect. Clicking on a region will link you to another page.
