Real quick question. I am having a designer put together a website for my business who may be leaving the country soon and would like to be able to have a copy of it?
He is setting up the hosting and said we would send me source codes for the site, is this enough to get it back online if I loose touch with him or his hosting.

Not sure right forum for this any, advice would help.

If its a simple website you could just log in with FTP and download all the documents to your own HD. If you have databases and then you'll also need to export a copy of those. Contact the host if you need to, they will be able to provide more information.

You may also want to get his actual design files (photoshop PSD files or whatever he uses) so you're not stuck trying to recreate the font used on a graphical header or something.
