colored scroll bars and printable forms

ok...this is the first of my silly questions i promised i would ask

2 things that are probably pretty simple...one how do you make colored scroll bars? I have seen them and thought they were pretty cool....and if i want to make a link to a printable file(.pdf) can i 1st upload my .pdf file to my root folder on the server...then just link it from a drop down menu?
thanks for your help...and if i didn't give enough explaination let me know

well i didn't page back far enough to see an answer to my first question...I found the thread on colored scroll bars...and imo chillibomb is a great link for that...thanks

Hi nlsstar, I'll try to answer your second question.. you must upload your pdf on the web (your webspace) in order to download it later. Then when your working on your drop down menu, just make one drop down a link to the PDF you uploaded. Sorry if any of that was obvious to you.

nothing is obvious to me ...i thought that's how it was done...but i'm old school...i live by the old carpenter's creed..."measure twice..cut once"...thanks for confirming the process
