I know a fair bit of PHP, and I can grab a pretty well paying project if I can fully automate payments and processing through Paypal.

Does anybody know where I should begin. I am a quick learner. Any tutorials? :tooth:

Here's a tutorial on how to use the Paypal IPN (Instant Payment Notification) with PHP. Just note that this particular one won't verify that the correct amount has been transferred. It should point you in the right direction though.

Here's another link that may be of interest.

I used this script

Its just one class, pretty much everything is there already...I just added some queries and str_replace's in the ipn part, and it updated my database etc all perfectly. (Did take a bit to manage but I got there)

I am planning to sell some graphics, payable by PayPal or creditr card....once paid for by ONE client, the graphics is no longer available for sale. I should display "SOLD" and tell the next person clicking as such. Meaning only one person can buy. Does anyone know how to achive this?

I haven't done any PayPal integration yet but I know my around PHP..just eough to get by. Any script available off the shelf? Any advice?

Thanking you in advance.

You might want to use oscommerce and install a download module with a fixed inventory. That way, your customer can dowload the image after paying via PayPal (might need to install a PayPal payment module), and if you make the inventory for each image "1", then no one will be able to buy it again.

Eurgh, not oscommerce, Use zencart. Much nicer. Does everything oscommerce does, and more, in a stylish way :P
