Hi im using frontpage and when i place an image in as normal, it gives me a time of let say 2sec. But when i place the same image in as a background image, it gives me a time of 0sec to load the image, why is this. Is it that background images load faster, or is it that it dose not reconnize it. can someone inlighten me on this please. I'll let you know what i am on about, if background images load faster if you would like to know, but if thay don't then it dose not matter.

I suppose its because you set the background image in the body tag..or in a css file...so it loads it before it loads everything else on the page

Did you test your image before testing the same image as a background? because if you did, that image would be already saved in your system cache, so I just loads on your system instead of download from the server. But you're probobly using special software to dertimine the load times, if that's the case, just ignore me =)
